The intermediate course follows the beginners pattern making and sewing course. Students will use their basic patterns from the beginners course to draft their intermediate designs / patterns from.
A color block top (taking opposite colors from the color wheel to make interesting and complementary color combinations)
A shirt (learning how to sew collars, cuffs, buttonholes, etc.)
An elasticated trouser (learning how to sew elastic)
A formal dress
(learning how to sew with fabrics such as satin, lace, chiffon etc)

Students are required to select their own designs and to supply their own fabric, paper and other equipment.
The advanced course follows the intermediate course. Students will learn more on adapting patterns, designing and construction of more advanced styles.

Students will learn how to make a variety of children’s clothing such as the following:
Dresses, baby grows, tracksuits, leggings, shorts, t-shirts etc.
This may vary depending on which patterns are available in class.
